I don’t even watch Adventure Time, and I still completely love this. xD
Listening to “21st Century Breakdown”, and suddenly being attacked by an odd combination of Hunger Games, Les Mis and Wicked feels.
Fandoms are ruining my life. xD (but srsly. “Know Your Enemy” makes me think of Katniss and District 13, “Before The Lobotomy” makes me think of Enjolras and Grantaire, and “Viva La Gloria” and “Last Night On Earth” give me endless Elphaba and Elphaba/Glinda feels.)
Okay, I was just listening to “Let It Show” by Hannah Fury, when I clicked on a link to a blog that had “For Good” on autoplay.
And now I desperately want a mashup between these two songs.

Does anyone else think he’s a pointless character? Or is it just me. It seems to me that the writer of the Book/Play had only made Fiyero a character to clarify that Elphaba and Glinda are not GAY?

In the musical, definitely. In the book, not so much, I think. Since the book didn’t have the pointless love triangle. But yep, in the show, his only purpose seemed to be preventing homophobes in the audience from screaming about TEH GHEY.
Imagine your OTP curled up by the fire with their kids. One of the kids asks about how your OTP met and Person A tells their account of the story which they have changed and altered to make themselves look better. Person B is constantly interrupting and correcting much to the amusement of the kids and Person A.
I was imagining this with Gelphie… but then I realized… Gelphie has no happy ending where they get married and have kids and are free to be adorable forever. Gelphie is just… tragedy. ;____; WHYYYYYY
